PROJECT IRONBARK

An Initiative By Goldfields Land Management

Project Ironbark began from a simple concern that much of Australia's Central Victorian Red Ironbark country has been heavily altered, fragmented or cleared over generations for timber. The project was created to help rebuild that story by collecting local provenance seed and propagating young trees to return to suitable sites across the region.

The project is currently independently funded by its founder through Goldfields Land Management, with early work focused on seed collection, propagation, research, site preparation and establishing future planting partnerships with landholders and community groups.

We welcome donations and other forms of support to help fund propagation equipment, materials, tree guards, irrigation, seed collection, site preparation and planting work.
